Jax Car Breakers grew out of 20 years in the motor trade. We buy whole vehicles, strip them down properly and sell the good parts on, rather than crushing a car that still has half a working vehicle inside it.
Right now most of what is on the shelves is Jaguar, Ford, Citroen, BMW and Vauxhall, alongside whatever else is worth breaking that week. Customers find us searching for car breakers in Tavistock and Devon, but most of our parts go out by courier to the rest of the UK.
That means we know these cars. We know which facelift changed the headlight plug, which modules need coding before they will work, and which interior trim looks identical but carries a different part number. How we work
Tested before removal
Wherever the vehicle allows it, electrical and mechanical items are tested on the car before they come off. Anything that fails goes in the scrap bin, not on eBay.

Used parts carry marks. We photograph scuffs, storage wear and any repairs rather than shooting around them, so what arrives is what you saw.
Part numbers on record
Every item is logged against its donor vehicle and its original part number, so we can tell you exactly what a part is and what it came off.
Packed to survive the trip
Panels get corner protection, electronics get antistatic bags, and heavy items go on a pallet. Couriers are not gentle, so we pack accordingly.
